How to use the Dropbox mobile app

Transcript

Upload, access, scan, and save files offline on mobile

Your files don't have to stay at your desk. With the Dropbox mobile app, you can open, upload, scan, and share files right from your phone or tablet. My name's Caitlin, and I'll show you four basic things you can do with the Dropbox mobile app on iOS and Android.

First, let's upload a file. Open the folder where you want it to go, then tap the plus button.

Choose to add photos or to upload another type of file. Pick your item, then confirm the upload.

Next, get to your folders. Tap files to browse, just like you would on your computer.

Tap any file to preview it, and from there, you can comment, share, or open it in another app to edit. Need to scan a document? Tap the plus button, then choose scan document.

Take a photo of a receipt, form, or note, make any quick edits, then save it to Dropbox.

But what if you're heading somewhere with no signal? Tap the more options icon next to the file, then turn on make available offline.

You'll find everything you've saved in your offline's files list. If this helped, share it with someone who needs it. And if you enjoyed this type of content, please like and subscribe to our channel, where we'll be bringing you more creative ways on how to use Dropbox. Thanks for watching!
