Manage users with the AD Connector

If your team uses Active Directory to manage network access, you can also use it to manage team member access to Dropbox. Any changes made to the Active Directory sync automatically to Dropbox. In this video, get a step-by-step walkthrough on installing the Dropbox AD Connector.

Install the AD Connector

First, locate and run the Dropbox-AD_Connector:MSI installer on either your domain controller or on a member server with the PowerShell Active Directory module installed, with at least read-only access.

Click the "Next" button to proceed through the installation wizard.

Check the box to accept the terms, and then click the "Next" button.

Click the "Next" button to install in the default path.

Click the "Install" button, and then choose "Yes" if the User Account Control prompts you.

The "Getting started" option is checked by default. If you already have this guide open, you can uncheck it.

Then click the "Finish" button to complete the installation.
